3" Ransomes 1933 Threshing Machine to the John Haining drawings.
Although I'm sure I've seen one of these before, they don't 'crop' up (forgive me) very often. It must surely be a rare beast!
It's a fascinating machine. I've just spent a good hour turning the wheel and trying to understand what does what. It's a captivating thing to watch with pushers, shakers, fans, drums, flaps and shoots all over the place! Suddenly that 3" burrell ticking over on it's own whilst you have your sandwich seems somehow not enough!!
If I get the chance I'll take a film of it working. Good excuse to throw a fire in the Burrell!!
